CryptoPunks will soon be led by One of Christie’s Experts for NFTs, Update by Ido Fishman

No one could have thought that the NFTs would gain so much recognition and even mainstream adoption when they were first created back in 2013. From the year 2013 to 2021, it took NFTs almost 8 years before they were able to gain worldwide adoption.

Up until the end of 2020, people hardly knew NFTs and now, the NFT news are the most viewed by the NFT followers. From the beginning of 2021, the NFT sector has entered many spaces. Out of all the spaces the NFT sector hit, the most prominent one has proven to be digital artworks. 

Like the real time auction houses for paintings, the NFT artworks were also sold through the online auction houses (marketplaces) for NFTs. However, the NFT users are also able to create, buy, and sell NFTs at their own will.

According to one of the NFT experts, Ido Fishman, NFTs have even gained global reaction. They have even gained in on the real time artwork buyers. This is the reason why the NFT artworks even found themselves being auctioned at the major auction houses.

These major auction houses are Sotheby’s Auction House and Christie’s Auction House. The digital NFT artworks have cast a huge influence over many experts at the Christie’s Auction House experts. 

Christie’s Auction House’s Expert Leaves for CryptoPunks

The attraction of the NFT artworks has compelled Noah Davis to leave Christie’s Auction House and join one of the largest NFT artwork collection creators, CryptoPunks.

Noah Davis was among the top specialists for non-fungible tokens at the Christie’s Auction House. Davis recently announced his departure from the second-largest auction house in the world.

He has confirmed that the will be working at Christie’s Auction House until the end of June. He plans on boarding the CryptoPunks’ ship by the beginning of July.

Noah Davis’s Role at Yuga Labs

To be precise, Noah Davis will be joining Yuga Labs that is behind the creation of the CryptoPunks NFT collection. At Yuga Labs, he will be working as the lead for the NFT collection of CryptoPunks.

It was on Sunday, when Noah Davis made the announcement through his Twitter that he will be leaving Christie’s Auction House for Yuga Labs.

He also took it upon himself to take full responsibility for running the CryptoPunks NFT collection with all the care and dedication. He added that being connected with the world of NFTs, he knows that the CryptoPunks NFT collection is one of the most reputed collections in the NFT sector.

They are known for being among the oldest of the collections for non-fungible tokens. Therefore, he will make sure he does not mess things up and do whatever he can to live up to the expectations of the CryptoPunks lovers. 

Future of CryptoPunk

Davis is known for being very innovative and focused on the expansion of the projects he’s worked in. He has already approached the owners of the CryptoPunk NFTs to talk to them directly and get their feedback about the collection.

He stated that he wishes to discuss the future of CryptoPunks and wants to know where the users and owners see the project headed in near future. He has invited all the owners to meet and talk to him about the future of the project at the NFT NYC event. 

Back in March 2021, the highest valued NFT known as Everydays: The First 5000 Days NFT, the creation of Beeple was sold under Davis’s supervision. The particular NFT artwork had been sold for a whopping $69 million. 

It was back in March of 2022 when CryptoPunks collection was acquired by Yuga Labs from Larva Labs. After the acquisition, Yuga Labs has decided to pick Davis as the lead for the particular collection. It is being expected that Noah Davis will be able to bring in a lot of adoption and user base for the NFT collections.
